Join us at West Michigan Clay/Pottworks Studio for an inspiring 4-hour workshop with ceramic artist Nathan Goddard on Sunday, August 17th from 1pm-5pm!
This is an opportunity to gain insights into Nathan Goddard's unique artistic process and hear about how his surroundings influence his approach to making. During this workshop, we'll observe Nathan as he demonstrates his innovative throwing and altering techniques, both on and off the wheel. Following his throwing demonstration, Nathan will reveal his secrets for creating dynamic surface designs, showcasing how he renders imagery using Speedball Underglazes through his distinctive mono-printing process to achieve vibrant contrast and color.

This workshop is very beginner-friendly, making it a perfect introduction to advanced clay processes and an excellent opportunity to ask questions directly from an experienced potter. Participants will gain valuable insights into surface decoration and form manipulation.
Workshop Fee: $55

All materials for the tile-making activity.
Bisque firing of your tile. You'll receive an email notification when your work is ready for pick-up.
